TRUST, WRITTEN CLEARLY
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 15, 2026
PickleClarity is designed to help people learn and play without turning their personal life into a public profile.
Information we collect
We collect account information, player-profile choices, lesson progress, Play Circle memberships, availability responses, games, match records, safety reports, notification preferences, and information you choose to submit. When you use nearby court search, approximate coordinates are used for that request and are not stored as your profile location.
How we use information
We use information to operate the service, synchronize your activity, personalize learning, coordinate games, deliver requested communications, protect players, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
What other players can see
Other players may see your display name, approximate area, experience level, shared circles, and participation in relevant games. We do not display your email address or precise device location to other players.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, model access, and operational monitoring. They process information only to provide those services under their own contractual and security obligations.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and service integrity. You can request account deletion from your Account page. A 30-day safety window allows accidental requests to be recovered before deletion is completed.
Your choices
You can update your profile, limit location visibility, change optional notifications, block players, report concerns, and request deletion. Authentication and essential security messages cannot be disabled while an account remains active.
Children
PickleClarity is not intended for children under 13. Local laws may require a higher minimum age or parental involvement.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated in the application or by email when appropriate.
